When we assemble it for you youll see that mortice and tenon joints are hand cut and fixed with teak dowels to give the ultimate in strength and to maintain the integrity of the wood itself. The tight knit grain swirls enticingly throughout ndash a hallmark of the highest quality teak wood which makes the furniture itself stand out and catch the eye. This also gives it long lasting beauty and unrivalled resistance to the elements if used outdoors ndash the oil content is high for low moisture uptake and natural resistance to the elements. This piece rquires virtually no maintenace needed due to these oils, meaning this piece is perfect for any commercial space. It will age to a silver grey colour that is attractive in itself but the original honey coloured feel can be restored wish a wash.
