The table is made frmo invidivual teak root sections which have been cleverly interwoven to form the central pedestal leg structure. The overall contrast between the rustic root section and the more smoothed and worked table top works really well and gives this piece great character throughout. The stool's top seating section is made from real goats hair that has been thoroughly cleaned and sterilised before application. Padding is added between it and the wooden stool seat section to offer a nice comfy platform. The long legs of the stools are hand finished from reclaimed teak which gives them a lovely rustic appeal and highlights the padded seat section superbly. Teak root at a glance this beautiful timber has fantastic character and the reclaimed root sections have huge rustic appeal as well. It is far superior to any other timber, particularly when used outdoors due to an abundance of natural oils and a very dense grain. In time the natural ageing process will turn the root section a silver grey patina which will add to the overall character in general.
